spicy shrimp with linguine

This recipe is from my sister’s sister-in-law. It is quite easy but has tons of flavors!

ingredients:
1 pound unpeeled/raw shrimp
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1-2 garlic cloves, minced
1 Tablespoon Cajun or Creole seasoning
1/2 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup dry white wine
8 ounces linguine, cooked
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (you can use less if you don't want a strong taste of parsley)

1 pkg linguine, cooked al dente

instructions:
Peel shrimp and devein, if desired. Set aside. Melt butter in large skillet. Add green onions and garlic and saute until tender. Stir in Cajun seasoning and cook, stirring constantly for 1 minute.

Cook linguine according to package instructions. Set aside.

Stir in shrimp and whipping cream. Reduce heat to medium low, stirring often, for 3 minutes. Stir in wine, stirring constantly, for 3 minutes.

Stir in crushed red pepper and grated Parmesan cheese. Cook stirring gently, until thoroughly heated. Toss cook linguine into sauce. Serve with your favorite salad. Enjoy!
