grilled pork tenderloin with mustard sauce
First enjoyed this recipe from Stacy in college. Ten plus years later its' still a favorite.
Perfect for casual grilling night.
ingredients:
1 (2-1/2 to 3 lb.) pork tenderloin
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. bourbon
2 T. brown sugar
Mustard Sauce – see below
instructions:
Place the pork in a mixture of soy sauce, bourbon and brown sugar in a container. Marinate covered, in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours.Grill the tenderloin for 12 to 15 minutes per side or until cooked through, basting occasionally with the marinade. Slice the tenderloin diagonally. Serve the mustard sauce with the tenderloin.
mustard sauce:
1/3 c. mayonnaise
1/3 c. sour cream
1 t. dry mustard
salt to taste
1-2 T. finely chopped scallions
Combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, dry mustard, vinegar, salt and scallions in a bowl; mix well. Be sure to chill for a few hours.
