breakfast casserole with ham and swiss cheese


ingredients

16 slices breads – sour dough
4 cups diced ham
3 cups milk
6 eggs
½ teaspoon onion salt
½ teaspoons dry mustard
2 cups swiss cheese
2 cups cheddar cheese

instructions
Grease a 9 x 13 pan. Layer half bread, half ham, half cheese. Add another layer with half bread, half ham, half cheese. 

In a medium bowl, mix milk, eggs, onion salt and dry mustard. Pour egg and milk mixture over casserole.  Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.

Mix 3 cups corn flakes, crushed, with ½ cup of melted butter. Bake for another 10 minutes.

Not a fan of swiss cheese? You can substitute with monterey jack. Also, I tend to reduce the amount of ham to only 2 cups.
